Job summary

IMEG Corp in Rock Island, IL is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program. You will work closely with experienced engineers on the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings, gaining hands-on exposure to education-focused projects.

During the internship you will assist with design coordination, documentation, and periodic job site observations while operating within project budgets and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required
• Strong interest in design consulting
• Exposure to CAD and/or Building Information Model software
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Clear oral and written communication

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings
• Support design coordination and project documentation
• Conduct periodic job site observations and help ensure budget alignment
• Coordinate design and schedule with multiple disciplines
• Document design decisions and meetings for permanent records
• Assist with addendum information and project deliverables
