Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an engineering intern in Alabama to support design teams with CAD deliverables and digital models. You will assist in generating engineering documents and 3D models under the supervision of a discipline manager or project engineer.

The role requires pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with at least two years of coursework completed, plus familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an engineering degree accredited by the university.
• Completed at least 2 years of coursework.
• Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus.
• Working proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiar with electrical design software.

Responsibilities

• Generate engineering design documents, digital models, and databases under guidance.
• Create documents using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Collaborate with engineers to understand scope and data needs.
• Produce limited design and detailed documents with engineer input.
• Finalize documents after engineer review and coordination.
