Job summary

Stantec in Houston, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to support building design teams in BIM workflows. You will assist with basic calculations, model development in Revit, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university; junior year preferred.
• Some related project or internship experience is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to interact within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Performs design for electrical systems using BIM to develop 3D models under senior staff guidance.
• Converts drawings to document-ready files and manages drawing sets.
• Supports basic calculations and layouts for building system components.
• Collaborates with project managers and design staff across phases.
• Maintains documentation and assists with energy models and calculations.
