Job summary

Stantec's Buildings team invites motivated students to join as an internship. You will work under guidance on CAD design tasks, perform site evaluations, and assist with electrical design duties on local projects.

Currently enrolled in an architectural or electrical engineering degree, you will collaborate with a project team, learn from seniors, and contribute to design deliverables in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Pursuing coursework related to electrical design and CAD/D drafting tools.
• Able to work under supervision on tasks and smaller projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce CAD drawings and related documentation.
• Perform field work evaluating existing sites as directed.
• Assist with electrical design including building load calculations and layouts.
• Support senior engineers/designers on projects of varying complexity.
