Job summary

Danfoss Drives in Loves Park, IL is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to contribute to our power electronics team. You will work on real projects that impact ongoing activities, apply your knowledge, and collaborate with experienced professionals to see your ideas come to life.

Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Contribute to anactive product development project, completing a package of work that directly impacts our ongoing activities.

What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program inElectrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
  • Coursework or focus onPower Engineering or Power Electronicsis a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, bothwritten and verbal, with the ability to effectively share ideas in formal, informal, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Ability tomanage your time effectivelyand work independently on tasks up to 40 hours per week.
  • Situational awarenessfor personal safety in a laboratory setting, with the ability to follow safety rules and protocols.
  • Proficiency in usingcomputer tools for simulation, analysis, and modeling.
