Job summary

Coffman Engineers' Atlanta office is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will focus on electrical, lighting, and telecom systems for buildings and industrial facilities, and gain hands-on experience in AutoCAD in a fast-paced professional environment.

This in-person role requires you to commute to the Duluth, GA office; two years of coursework in engineering preferred; strong written and verbal communication; and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
• Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree (preferred).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of AutoCAD.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours during the school break; in-person attendance in Duluth, GA.
• This is not a remote position. Must be able to commute to the Duluth, GA office.

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual with an interest in engineering to join our team as an Electrical Engineering Intern during Summer 2027. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your chosen field! The ideal candidate will be a student who wishes to focus onelectrical, lighting and telecomsystems for buildings and industrial facilities, increase proficiency in AutoCAD, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.

• This is not a remote position. This role is based in Duluth, GA and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office.
