Job summary

Coffman Engineers’ Atlanta office is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The candidate will focus on electrical, lighting and telecom systems for buildings and industrial facilities and gain hands-on experience in a professional, fast-paced environment.

The ideal student is pursuing an engineering degree, enrolled full-time, with AutoCAD interest, and able to work up to 40 hours during school breaks. This in-person role is based in Duluth, GA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
• Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree (preferred)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of AutoCAD
• Ability to work up to 40 hours during the school break. Flexibility for school schedule/demands will be provided.
• This is not a remote position. This role is based in Duluth, GA and requires in-person attendance. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office.
