This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Will participate in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks as well as resolving day‑to‑day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line. Completes drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects. Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design for new products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.
Gain knowledge about designing electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Gain knowledge in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co‑op session. Experience using MatLab, C, C+, Excel, JavaScript Experience using Microsoft Office products

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
