Bala Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Department Manager (MEP) to lead the Baltimore electrical team, manage select projects and develop a group capable of large-scale work regionally and nationally.

The role combines technical leadership, project management, and client development, with responsibilities spanning staffing, budgets, schedules, quality control, and collaboration with offices across Bala's enterprise.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience in electrical/fire alarm design.
• Maryland PE license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Strong technical writing & software skills including Revit.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Self-motivated attitude with ability to multitask in a timeline-driven environment.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical engineering team as technical expert and project leader.
• Develop detailed plans, processes and procedures for staff to follow.
• Recruit, hire, coach and evaluate staff performance and advancement.
• Oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects.
• Collaborate with managers, suppliers and contractors to deliver on time and on budget.
