Job summary

Billerud NA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op to support mill operations and project start‑ups. You will provide engineering support to maintenance teams, maintain electrical docs, and analyze issues within RCFA processes while rotating through Pulp, Paper, or Power areas.

The program aims to develop future engineers and leaders, offering education support and structured growth within a global, sustainability‑driven packaging company.

Qualifications

• Engineering curriculum with an interest in the Pulp, Paper and Packaging Industry
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Must have completed three semesters of college education prior to Co‑op start date
• Must be available to work one of two Co‑op rotations which run either January through August or May through December.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for mill operations
• Participate in and support start‑up of assigned projects
• Provide engineering support for maintenance E/I technicians
• Maintain consistent and accurate electrical documentation
• Analyze problems and provide electrical engineering support for trouble resolutions following RCFA processes
• Provide engineering support for key departments
• Utilize problem solving and analytical skills to achieve department initiatives
