GPD Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op in Columbus, OH. You will be a billable member of the team, performing design work for clients and learning how to use different design technologies and software, under the mentorship of a licensed engineer.

The role targets a student pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree with an interest in AutoCAD Electrical design and high-voltage substation concepts, collaborating on project teams and developing documentation skills.

Electrical Engineering Power Co-op: Spring/Summer/Fall 2027 Semesters: This is not a “get coffee and file paperwork” type of co-op experience.You will be a billable member of the team doing design work for our clients and learning how to use different design technology and software systems, mentoring under a professional engineer.

• Akron and Columbus, OH office locations.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Interest in learning AutoCAD Electrical design.
• Interest in high voltage (35kV to 500kV) substation and related design.
• Interest in engineering design and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Must be a team player and be self-motivated.
• Ability to work on project teams and work individually.
