Job summary

GPD Group in Akron, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op focused on Power to join our client-focused design teams. You will work as a billable member on power system design, applying AutoCAD Electrical and other software, and you will learn from a professional engineer in a mentoring environment.

This co-op offers exposure to high-voltage substation design (35kV–500kV) and the chance to contribute to real projects while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Electrical Engineering Power Co-op: Spring/Summer/Fall 2027 Semesters: This is not a “get coffee and file paperwork” type of co-op experience.You will be a billable member of the team doing design work for our clients and learning how to use different design technology and software systems, mentoring under a professional engineer.

Akron and Columbus, OH office locations.
