Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest in learning AutoCAD power industry-related design technology.
• Interest in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 245kV).
• Interest in structural design for power utility infrastructure.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and develop estimates/budgets.

Power Co-op: Civil Engineering: This is not a “get coffee and file paperwork” type of co-op experience.You will be a billable member of the team doing design work for our clients and learning how to use different design technology and software systems, mentoring under a professional engineer.
