Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Rhode Island is seeking an undergrad Co-op in Electrical Engineering for Jan–Mar 2027. You will report to a Maintenance Manager and participate in electrical system operation and maintenance across the ARI site.

Responsibilities include shadowing technicians, supporting improvement projects, assisting with troubleshooting and ensuring safe, compliant operations. This program expects full-time availability and US residency for duration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent.
• Must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule during the program.

Responsibilities

• Shadow technicians to operate, maintain, and sustain major electrical equipment on site.
• Support day-to-day operations to ensure safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective utility operations at ARI.
• Assist electrical group in troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems.
• Document work orders accurately and completely.
