Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island invites undergrad cooperative education students to join the Facilities & Engineering team for a Jan–Mar 2027 co‑op. You will shadow technicians, learn to operate and maintain large electrical systems, and contribute to safe, compliant utility operations in a major production facility.

Responsibilities include supporting electrical projects, troubleshooting equipment, and documenting work orders while collaborating with peers across Amgen.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time Associate's or Bachelor's degree program
• GPA 3.0 minimum or equivalent
• Located in the United States for the duration of the program

Responsibilities

• Shadow technicians to operate, maintain, and sustain major electrical equipment on site
• Support day-to-day operations and improvement projects for electrical systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems
• Ensure activities are performed safely and documentation is complete
• Collaborate with Facilities & Engineering peers within Amgen network
