Job summary

Emerson co-ops in the United States offer meaningful work, mentorship, and exposure to multiple engineering departments. You will rotate through Engineering Lab, CAE, and Product Engineering to gain hands-on experience in feasibility studies, design, and testing of new products.

You will conduct tests, build prototypes, learn C programming, and contribute to robust product development under experienced engineers. On-site with a $24-$28 hourly pay scale.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment.
• Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
• Create schematics and PCB layout used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD.
• Learn 'C' programming of microcontrollers.
• Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.
