Job summary

Emerson is offering a student co-op program in Iowa to gain hands‑on experience across Engineering Lab, CAE, and Product Engineering. You will assist engineers, run tests, and help design embedded PCBs while learning to analyze data and present results.

You will rotate through Labs and CAE, work full-time during the semester, and gain exposure to real product development processes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work assignments rotate through Engineering Lab, CAE, and Product Engineering based on academic level.
• Conduct tests using lab equipment and analyze results.
• Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts used to design embedded circuit boards.
• Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.
