Job summary

Emerson is seeking a student for a co-op program in Ohio to rotate through Engineering Lab, CAE, and Product Engineering, gaining hands-on experience with lab tests, PCB design, and embedded C programming.

You'll contribute to product development while advancing your skills in C, C++, and Python, with the opportunity to return for multiple rotations and engage with mentors across the organization.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester
• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment.
• Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
• Create schematics and PCB layout used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD.
• Learn "C" programming of microcontrollers.
• Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.
