Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking engineering co-ops in the United States for a structured six to eight month program. Work will include mechanical, electrical, and software oriented projects with leadership exposure.

You will analyze schematics, assist in product optimization, and manage component data while collaborating with teams. This role demands on-site presence Monday-Thursday and flexible location choices on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS/BA in an engineering field with GPA ≥3.0.
• Available to work full-time 6–8 months (Jan–Aug or May–Dec).
• Willing to relocate anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Use electrical schematics to identify optimization opportunities and design for manufacturability.
• Select and assemble data center chiller components.
• Review datasheets to identify substitute parts.
• Manage large component pricing spreadsheets in Excel.
• Meet internal and external customer needs effectively.
