Job summary

Trane Technologies invites energetic students to join our Energy Engineer COOP program for a comprehensive 12-week experience. You will work with a mentor to complete energy analysis projects, audits, and documentation while developing leadership and communication skills.

You may participate in building energy conservation measures, data analysis, and opportunity qualification, with potential for future full-time roles upon graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferred disciplines: Energy, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical.
• Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• DUI in the previous 5 years
• Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions in the previous 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers and Energy Engineers to diagnose energy opportunities and provide small energy projects.
• Collaborate with Energy Engineers to document value added to the customer.
• Provide technical analysis/review for energy projects; assess project risk.
• Perform building walk-throughs and identify energy conservation measures in various facilities.
• Learn and assist with measurement and verification of savings reports per IMVP standards.
