Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Charlotte, NC is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join our Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include using software to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables, solving complex problems, and collaborating across disciplines to realize our clients’ visions for the built environment. Our team works on a wide range of projects—MEP, lighting, power distribution, renewables, EV charging, security, and ITS—plus cost

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) expected by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Solve complex problems and collaborate with project managers across disciplines.
• Develop familiarity with regulations and company/client standards.
• Work on diverse projects including building MEP, lighting, power, renewables, EVs, security, and telecom.
• Assist with electrical equipment cost research and report writing.
• Gain exposure to solar/energy projects, battery storage, PV, and ITS design.
