Qualifications

• Use of Model Based Systems Engineering principles to develop SysML models and DOORS requirement management tool preferred.
• Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
• An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired; the ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities for complex electronic systems from concept to deployment, ensuring compliance with specs and industry standards.
• Conduct system requirements analysis, definition, and allocation translating customer needs into functional requirements.
• Perform system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition in support of system design.
• Conduct system level trade analysis of different design options including estimated development and operational costs.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to develop architectures that optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee system integration, verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with requirements and performance objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation to address challenges and ensure safety, security, and interoperability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and ensure timely milestone delivery.
• Support preparation of technical documentation including system specifications, design documents, test plans, and reports.
