Job summary

Energix North America seeks an Electrical Engineer to support utility-scale solar projects from development through due diligence. You will focus on system layouts, preliminary electrical design, and evaluating targets for acquisitions.

You will collaborate with the Civil Engineer to assess feasibility, review seller docs, and prepare technical reports to support decisions. This role offers growth in a dynamic renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering, preferably in renewable energy.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct electrical consultants for project design.
• Analyze electrical schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to team and stakeholders.
• Participate in commissioning and testing of installations.
