Jacobs currently seeks an electrical engineer to support federal building projects in Orlando. You will perform design calculations, create construction drawings, and prepare specifications for electrical distribution, lighting, grounding, and equipment connections. You will coordinate with other disciplines and use REVIT/AutoCAD, delivering precise work under senior staff guidance.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a ABET‑accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and ability to obtain EIT.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Candidates must have or be able to obtain EIT status on hire.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Preferably 3.0 GPA and internship experience in power distribution/building design.

Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines, use engineering software, and deliver accurate, timely work under the guidance of senior technical staff.

Requirements:

Requires U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD. Candidates must have or be able to obtain EIT status upon hire and be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; a 3.0 GPA and relevant power distribution or building design internship experience are preferred.
