Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Irvine, CA to support design calculations, drawings, and specs for federal building projects. You will coordinate with other disciplines and use engineering software to deliver accurate work under senior staff guidance.

Requirements include a ABET‑accredited BS in Electrical Engineering, US citizenship, and proficiency in Excel with familiarity in Revit or AutoCAD. EIT status on hire is expected; GPA 3.0 and internship experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Candidates must have or be able to obtain EIT status upon hire.

Support design calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for federal building projects, including electrical distribution, lighting, grounding, power, and equipment connections. Coordinate designs with other disciplines, use engineering software, and deliver accurate, timely work under the guidance of senior technical staff.

Requirements

Requires U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD. Candidates must have or be able to obtain EIT status upon hire; a 3.0 GPA and relevant power distribution or building design internship experience are preferred.
