Qualifications

Job description

Support engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for federal building projects, including designing electrical distribution, lighting, grounding, power, and equipment connection systems. Coordinate designs with other disciplines, work under the guidance of senior technical staff, and deliver accurate and timely work while developing technical skills.

Requirements

Requires U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD. Candidates must have or be able to obtain EIT status upon hire; a 3.0 GPA and relevant internship experience in power distribution or building design are preferred.
