Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design low and medium voltage switchgear assemblies, create submittals and BOM packages, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements. The role involves hands-on interaction with production teams and QA to improve design quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of switchgear design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with REVIT and Inventor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
EIT certificate preferred.
1–3 years of design experience in switchgear, control circuits, UL891/UL1558.
AutoCAD Electrical proficiency.
Experience with REVIT and Inventor preferred.

Responsibilities

Create designs for low voltage & medium voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and related equipment.
Collaborate with mechanical, production, purchasing and vendors to develop complete drawings and BOMs.
Work with QA and Testing to develop and review plans.
Follow standard design processes to improve quality and efficiency.
Make changes to electrical designs throughout the product life cycle.
Support production, project management and sales as needed.
