Job summary
Exelon is seeking a General Engineer to lead engineering projects for protective relaying and transmission substations, ensuring compliance with NERC PRC standards. The role requires strong analytical, technical writing, and documentation skills to develop defensible compliance evidence.
Ideal candidates have relay settings experience, system studies, data analysis, and familiarity with ASPEN, Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, PowerShell, and Visual Basic to automate processes and analyze
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and technical writing/documentation for evaluating compliance requirements.
- Experience with relay settings, system studies, data analysis and engineering principles.
- Minimum of 4–7 years of professional engineering experience.
- Knowledge of regulations, codes and standards for complex engineering assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform moderately complex engineering assignments with independent judgment.
- Lead small engineering projects or tasks with cross-functional coordination.
- Provide technical support to engineering and operating groups for design, installation and maintenance.
- Participate in evaluating and improving technical systems and processes.
