Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Eng with 4+ years of experience or higher; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Analog Circuit Design experience.
• Minimum 3 years RF electronics experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Schematics capture & PCBA layout in Altium or Cadence.
• Minimum 3 years lab experience troubleshooting electronics in Analog/RF.
• Minimum 2 years with Network Analyzer, Frequency Generator, Vector Analyzer and scopes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, test, evaluate and integrate electronic equipment for high-performance hardware.
• Analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Select components based on specifications and reliability; assess operating data.
• Lead design activities for existing/new products (mid frequencies/edge rates) with design-for-manufacturing focus.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to verification, documentation and manufacturing debugging.
• Support/lead PCB layout guidance and design modifications during obsolescence.
• Provide technical solutions for difficult problems impacting project milestones.
• Develop schematics for digital and analog circuits and provide PCB guidance.
• Review vendor capabilities for analog/digital, FPGA, DSP, power and control systems.
• Develop methodologies and performance assessments for specialized algorithms (sonar, sensor processing).
• Create presentations and training materials; develop operations manuals and test procedures.
