Job summary

Blue Origin in Longmont, CO is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead electronic motion control product design. You will develop electronic architectures, drive schematic capture and PCB layouts, and mentor a technical team through design reviews and lab testing.

The role emphasizes embedded system design, SI/PI, EMC compliance, and readiness for flight-like environments, with relocation and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of work experience in electronic product design.
• Extensive experience with embedded system design (Digital, Analog, and Mixed Signal).
• Experience with board-level interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CAN).
• Knowledge of high-speed design: SpaceWire, 10GbE, SerDes; DC/DC power conversion.
• Familiarity with design analysis and simulation tools (WCA/WCCA, Reliability, Radiation, Spice).
• Prototype development, debug, and test in lab environments; experience in regulated environments.
