Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for ISR, defense, and space missions. You will translate requirements into schematics, PCB layouts, and power solutions while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires strong fundamentals in analog/digital circuits, power distribution, and EMC/EMI, plus the ability to work in a regulated environment. Relocation assistance may be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s with 2+ years, or 8+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4–10 years of hardware development experience in regulated environments like aerospace/defense.
• Experience with circuit design, schematics, interfaces, and hardware integration.
• Experience with tools for schematic capture, PCB design, and analysis.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, or logic analyzers.
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital circuits, power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC.
• Ability to interpret requirements and communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain U.S. Security Clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for ISR, defense, space missions.
• Translate requirements into schematics, PCB designs, interfaces, and power solutions.
• Perform analyses on power, signal integrity, thermal, grounding, EMI/EMC considerations.
• Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, test procedures, and documentation.
• Support hardware bring-up, verification, qualification, and environmental testing.
• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, RF, embedded, and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and configuration management.
• Apply best practices for reliability, EMC, signal integrity, and rugged hardware development.
