Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer for space technology to design, test, integrate, and operate spaceflight avionics and electrical hardware while guiding a team of engineers.

Based in Houston, TX, you will lead technical reviews, support NASA requirements, and mentor junior engineers. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years in space hardware is required; a Master’s is preferred, with strong PCB design and test skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Master's degree preferred for senior leadership.
• Experience in space hardware is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop space-qualified electronics (power, data handling, flight computers).
• Create and maintain assembly instructions, test procedures, interfaces and reports.
• Perform electrical testing and qualification on safety-critical flight hardware.
• Review payload designs to ensure NASA and Voyager requirements compatibility.
• Support proposals with technical approaches and provide status updates to Engineering.
