Job summary

UNOPS Middle East Region seeks an Electrical Engineer to support design, supervision and documentation of electrical systems for infrastructure projects, including power supply, pumping and solar energy systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with AutoCAD and Solar PV design skills. MS Office proficiency and prior work with international organizations are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with solar PV systems and AutoCAD required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software preferred.
• Experience with international organizations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support needs assessments for electrical systems in water and irrigation projects.
• Prepare, verify and review electrical designs, specs, BoQs, costs and drawings.
• Contribute to tender documents and proposal evaluations.
• Coordinate system testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure HSSE compliance and maintain project documentation.
