Job summary
Sora Resource Group seeks an Electrical Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to develop ruggedized electronics for military fuzing and ordnance systems. You will interact with customers and cross-functional teams to define requirements and design solutions.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent), expertise in analog/digital circuit design, simulations using SPICE, and hands-on design with Altium or PADS. Onsite only with relocation assistance and US citizenship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 7+ years, or 13 years minimum without a degree.
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design for ruggedized electronics.
- Familiar with EMI/ESD protection and DFM best practices.
- Ability to interface with customers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine requirements for ordnance electronics.
- Interface with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Circuit design and component selection for ruggedized systems.
- Perform simulations and circuit tolerance analyses.
- Prepare and execute test plans and generate test reports.
- Lead and mentor engineers.
- Prepare materials for design reviews and implement design changes.
- Travel 5-10% and manage multiple projects.
