Hypertherm, Inc. in Hanover, NH and Kent, WA is seeking an entry-level Rotational Electrical Engineer to participate in our Rotational Engineering program.

You will rotate across electrical subsystems within Plasma and Waterjet cutting systems, contribute to new product development, sustaining engineering, and support across procurement, manufacturing, and QA. Qualifications

• Currently completing your BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (Graduating in December 2026 or May 2027).
• Contributes to designs, performs tests, and analyzes routine problems under guidance from a more senior engineer.
• Understanding of electrical design principles and ability to maintain those principles in your designs.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert of Electrical subsystems within Plasma and Waterjet cutting systems, CNC, and THCs (Torch Height Controllers).
• Maintain and support released products, including design changes as part of sustaining engineering and supplier coordination.
• Lead cost-saving or product-improvement initiatives by executing design changes, verification and validation testing.
