Job summary

MSTS, the contractor for NNSS at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV, seeks an Electrical Engineer to join a small, agile team focused on high‑hazard research and production projects.

You will design circuitry, RF systems, and embedded hardware, develop custom PCBs with Altium, and collaborate with software and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration. U.S. citizenship and DOE security clearance are required. Annual salary range is $67,704–$101,566.40, with a 4/10 work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering ABET-accredited program.
• Calculus-based STEM degree acceptable.
• Architects: NCARB or PE license acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design circuitry to meet project needs.
• Develop RF systems and embedded hardware.
• Collaborate with software engineers for hardware-software integration.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers for hardware compatibility.
• Create processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Design and fabricate PCBs using Altium.
• Read and analyze data sheets.
• Test and troubleshoot circuit designs.
• Adhere to project timelines and budgets.
• Prepare reports and analyses for projects.
