Job summary

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the Remote Sensing Laboratory at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. You will design circuits, RF systems and embedded hardware, collaborating with software and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless HW-SW integration.

The role requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree required for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineering degrees.
  • Calculus-based STEM bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • NCARB certification or PE license may be required for some roles.
  • Ability to interpret codes and standards within the discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Design circuitry for systems that meet project needs and requirements.
  • Design and develop RF systems and embedded hardware for innovative applications.
  • Collaborate with Software and Mechanical Engineers for HW-SW integration.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure project success.
  • Design and fabricate custom PCBs using Altium.
  • Read and analyze data sheets; test and troubleshoot circuits.
  • Prepare reports and analyses supporting various projects.
