Job summary

Thomas Young Group in New York City is seeking a professional Electrical Engineer to design and oversee electrical systems across diverse projects. You will lead complex designs, coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineers, and ensure adherence to standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and experience with or knowledge of Revit and complex electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• PE preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit preferred.
• Experience with design and coordination of complex electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of lighting, technology, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical systems for a variety of projects.
• Lead and coordinate complex electrical system designs.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
• Utilize Autodesk Revit and other industry-standard tools to create and modify designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Manage projects, interact with clients, and provide leadership to junior engineers.
