Job summary

INEOS Pigments in Ashtabula, Ohio, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer SME to lead the reliability and electrical integrity of two TiO2 plants and an Air Separation Unit. You will troubleshoot advanced electrical issues, drive RCFA investigations, and manage MOC processes to keep production running smoothly.

The role emphasizes HV/MV/LV distribution, EMI program oversight, and ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC and OSHA, with a typical 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in reliability, design, maintenance and construction in chemical manufacturing or industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of medium/high voltage systems and power distribution and protection.
• Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/PLC) is a plus.
• Knowledge of reliability practices and electrical safety standards (NFPA, NEC, NETA).

Responsibilities

• Act as site SME for electrical infrastructure including HV/MV/LV distribution.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of power systems for TiO2 processing and ASU.
• Oversee EMI program for the site.
• Lead RCFA investigations and electrical failure investigations.
• Provide guidance to Asset Managers and Engineers to ensure code compliance.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve electrical reliability and prevent interruptions.
• Oversee routine checks of substations, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, grounding.
• Maintain EMI procedures and PM tasks.
• Keep site electrical specifications current with codes and standards.
• Ensure electrical work is risk analyzed and compliant with NFPA/NEC/OSHA.
• Develop and oversee site policies per INEOS guidance notes.
• Design/specify and support installation of electrical equipment.
• Promote safety through the 20 Principles Safety Program.
