The purpose of the position is to provide and direct instrumentation and electrical (I/E) engineering support to the Ineos Pigments business in Ashtabula, OH. Utilizing previous experience and knowledge in the I/E discipline, this professional will perform 3 main roles:
The successful candidate should have a minimum of a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 to 7 years of related experience in power electrical and process instrumentation and control. Experience with the technical design and support of petro‑chemical or batch operations is required. Basic knowledge of distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers is required. Candidate must be able to support daily operations and perform short‑term projects.
The preferred candidate will have held a similar position that interfaced with operators, technicians, staff engineers, engineering contractors, vendor field engineers and sales representatives.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential to perform and communicate the day‑to‑day support, troubleshooting conclusions and status of projects.
