Job summary

Hamilton Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and test electronic systems for precision fluid measuring devices. You will work at the intersection of analog/digital circuitry, embedded firmware, and RF/USB communication.

The role requires 3+ years in hardware/electronics design, hands-on PCB work, and collaboration with mechanical and optical engineers to deliver robust lab instruments for life sciences. Mastery of Altium or KiCad is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years hardware/electronics design experience.
  • Experience with analog circuits and PCB design.
  • Firmware development in C/C++.
  • Familiar with EMC/EMI testing and regulatory standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test analog and digital circuits for precision measurement systems.
  • Develop embedded firmware for microcontrollers managing sensors and data.
  • Conduct EMI/EMI testing and regulatory pre-compliance work.
  • Collaborate with mechanical/optical engineers to integrate electronics.
  • Perform PCB layout and design for manufacturability.
  • Support component qualification and design history files.
