Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support maintenance and construction projects across power, renewable energy, industrial, and chemical markets. You will develop design criteria, procure equipment, and perform field inspections to ensure successful project execution.

The role requires ABET-accredited degrees, PE licensure, and 6+ years of experience, with a strong emphasis on electrical distribution, codes, and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with ABET accreditation.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred and ABET-accredited.
• State Board licensure as a Professional Engineer is required.
• 6+ years of engineering experience in relevant markets.
• PE licensure strongly preferred by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance and engineering support for assigned project activities.
• Develops and monitors project scopes for applicable discipline and notes scope changes.
• Coordinates design efforts with other disciplines and client personnel.
• Monitors design documentation for code compliance and constructibility.
• Stamps required project documents as a PE when responsible.
