You will prepare schematics, perform load analyses, and coordinate with civil, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure safe, code-compliant installations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience in heavy civil, industrial, or utilities sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM PowerTools.
• Strong NEC knowledge and relevant standards.
• Experience with power distribution, control circuits, instrumentation.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• PE license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components for projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specs.
• Perform load analysis, voltage drop, short circuit, and protective device coordination.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and oversee installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and structural engineers to integrate designs.
• Develop testing procedures to ensure performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues during project execution and after completion.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and cost estimates.
• Stay updated on technologies and best practices in electrical engineering.
