Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an Electrical Engineer to support power generation and energy systems commissioning and startup. Responsibilities span pre-commissioning through turnover, ensuring tests and verifications meet client expectations. Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or commissioning.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, drawings, and control systems.
- Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup processes.
Responsibilities
- Support safe, reliable commissioning and startup of power generation and energy systems.
- Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
- Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes and design criteria.
- Assist drafting group and coordinate with other discipline leads.
- Perform fieldwork to gather data and provide construction support.
