Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Bowling Green, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support commissioning and startup of power generation and energy systems. You will provide electrical engineering expertise throughout pre-commissioning, commissioning, and turnover, ensuring systems are properly tested and ready for operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of relevant industrial electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with commissioning, testing, and startup of power systems.
• Proficiency with power system analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of protection coordination and arc flash analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support safe, reliable commissioning and startup of power generation and energy systems.
• Produce design calculations and material take-offs for construction.
• Check vendor and discipline drawings for electrical input.
• Provide field support including on-site startup activities.
• Collaborate with design leaders to ensure timely information flow.
• Develop construction specifications and installation details.
• Guide less experienced staff in the department.
