Job summary

Hargrove in Bowling Green, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the safe commissioning and startup of power generation and energy systems on site. You will provide electrical engineering expertise through pre-commissioning, commissioning and turnover, ensuring systems are tested, verified and ready for operation.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of relevant industrial experience and knowledge of power systems, protection coordination, arc flash analysis, and DCS/SCADA integration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Requires 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or commissioning.
• Working knowledge of electrical power systems and equipment including switchgear, transformers, generators.
• Experience with protection relay testing and electrical test equipment (Omicron, Doble, Megger).
• Understanding of protection coordination, arc flash analysis, and DCS/SCADA integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site assistance during startup and commissioning activities.
• Produce designs, calculations and drawings for materials of construction and controls.
• Review vendor drawings and discipline drawings for electrical input and conformance.
• Develop construction specifications and support field data collection.
• Coordinate with design leaders to ensure timely completion of packages.
