Jobot is seeking a Power Systems Engineer to deliver design, analysis, and studies for both domestic and international projects. You will conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, and power quality studies while supporting field services during shut-downs and startups.

Strong English communication and field experience are valued. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years in power systems studies and experience with SKM/ETAP/E Aspen/EZPower

• Experience with short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies.
• Experience using SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower or other power system modeling software.
• Knowledge of low, medium and high-voltage up to 500 kV.
• Clear English communication with customers and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years relevant experience; prefer educational focus in Power Systems studies.
• Experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies PREFFERED.
• Must have experience using SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower, or other power system modeling software.
• Must have knowledge of low, medium and high-voltage up to 500 kV.
• Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
• Field experience with substations or switchgear highly desirable.
• Utility design experience a plus.
• Availability for occasional domestic and international travel a plus.
