AMETEK Programmable Power Business Unit in San Diego, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support component and product engineering for programmable power products. You will collaborate with the India Component Engineering team, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to qualification, lifecycle management, BOM maintenance, testing, ECOs, and continuous improvement.

You will assist with new product development and sustaining engineering, perform design reviews,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Internship, co-op, academic project, or up to one year of relevant experience.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. and authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

Responsabilités

• Support selection, qualification, and validation of electronic and electro-mechanical components.
• Review and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with product development, testing, troubleshooting, and ECOs related to components.
• Collaborate with global teams on qualification, lifecycle management, and cross-time-zone work.
