Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Power Engineer to support design and engineering activities for gas generation projects. You will collaborate with professional and technical staff to deliver high-quality solutions across EE fields, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, hands-on design reviews, and interaction with external engineers, vendors, and regulators to maintain project excellence and reliability.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited college/university is required.
• Five+ years of power/EE design engineering experience for Power Generation facilities is preferred.
• Experience with large projects, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to professional/technical staff across EE scope of gas generation projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities to ensure high-quality, timely completion.
• Provide engineering recommendations with safety and affordability considerations.
• Interface with outside engineers, vendors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
