Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to design, commission, and support power distribution and control systems for oil and gas facilities in Richmond, OH. You will work on projects from design through startup, applying NEC/IEEE standards and coordinating with vendors and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of progressive electrical engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial industries.
• Experience developing PLC, DCS, and HMI control logic using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Yokogawa.
• Strong understanding of low- and medium-voltage power distribution, grounding, and protective relaying.
• Working knowledge of NEC, API RP, and other applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze electrical power distribution systems, MCCs, and low/med-voltage equipment.
• Develop and implement PLC, DCS, and HMI control system architecture, hardware, and software specifications.
• Create engineering documentation including one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, cable/conduit schedules, equipment specs, electrical area classifications, P&IDs, and control narratives.
• Perform electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and protective relay coordination analyses.
• Prepare technical specs for electrical equipment and coordinate with vendors.
